order policy

  1. Orders for less than 100 persons need to be placed (confirmed) by 12n the day prior to the event. Private orders for more than 100 persons need to be placed (confirmed) 3 days in advance of the event. Large orders (300+) need to be confirmed 7 days in advance. (Please note that some menu selections may require additional notice or a substitution may be required. Menu selection for rush orders may be limited, so your flexibility is appreciated).

  2. To confirm the order, a deposit of 50% of the projected total bill needs to be made in advance as mentioned above (as per the cut off time).

Cancellations & Refunds

  1. Cancellations for small orders (less than 100 pax) must reach us in writing (email, Facebook message) at least 24 hrs prior to the scheduled delivery time. Failure to do so will forfeit the advance amount or 50% of the total bill needs to be paid (in case of company payment). 
  2. Cancellations for large orders (more than 100) must reach us in writing (email, Facebook message) at least 72 hrs before the event time. Failure to do so will forfeit the advance amount or 50% of the total bill needs to be paid (in case of company payment). 
  3. The refund is only available to cancellations compliant with the policies.


  1. The final bill to be settled on delivery or after completion of the event when the full catering support is ordered. 
  2. Corporates with credit agreement on file may be given credit facility for 10 working days after submission of the final invoice. 
  3. Govt. orders with tender notice followed by a proper work order can have a credit facility of up to 30 days. 

checks (/cheques)

  1. All checks should be made payable to Desh Catering Ltd and money receipt against check will be valid only after the successful realization of the payment.
  2. Advance payment check must be issued 5 working days in advance in order to ensure the successful realization of the amount.

price changes

  1. All prices are subject to change without notice. All food products are chosen based upon availability. We are not responsible for weather changes or price increases due to shortages of power, supply and demand or any unforeseen situation in the food or labor market.


  1. Applicable VAT to be paid by the client. The GoB requires VAT to be applied to all food & beverage items and service charges at the rate of 7.5%. VAT-exempt organizations must provide documentation to retain on file.

delivery fee

  1. Delivery charge based on your order volume and location will apply.


  1. We can provide professional on-site staff (Waiter & Dish Washer) for your event inside Dhaka at the rate of 750 Taka per staff for a 4-hour period and  1000 Taka per staff for events outside Dhaka. Additional hours will be charged at the rate of 200 Taka per waiter per hour.


  1. Although gratuities are not automatically included in your invoice and are not required, they are very much appreciated by the staff. You may add a gratuity by contacting the Catering Sales Manager directly.


  1. The client assumes full responsibility for any damage or loss of any equipment, including but not limited to tents, tables, chairs, linens, glassware, décor, china or flatware. Any lost, stolen or damaged equipment will be charged to the client at replacement cost. All equipment should be present and ready for pick up by Desh Catering after the event. If Desh Catering staff is not on-site for the event, the client is responsible for the safety of all food setup and serving including any heated chafing dishes left on site. Desh Catering does not accept responsibility due to negligence by the client or any attendees of the client’s event that causes any damage as a result.


  1. To ensure the safety of our clients and their guests, it is Desh Catering’s policy to remove and discard any leftover food after the event. Any uneaten or non-consumed food or bottled beverages left on the buffet table/food station area may be given to the client upon request. We do not recommend serving leftover food as we cannot ensure the safety in doing so, however, upon client request the above described leftover food and beverage may be taken by the client. The client will assume full responsibility and liability for the result any leftover food served and consumed, with or without Desh Catering’s knowledge.


  1. Desh Catering and all of its affiliates will not be responsible for any damage to water lines, electrical lines, landscaping, buildings or patio flooring due to rust stains, scraps or scratches.


  1. Any orders placed on the Desh Catering website or directly with our staff will be kept private and used solely for the purpose of completing your order. All client emails will be saved in our system and included in future Desh Catering mailings regarding updates, information or promotions related to our company. Your email or order information will never be shared or sold to any outside party at any time. Should you wish to be removed from our email list, you can opt-out at any time or contact us at [email protected]. Our payments made by credit cards are by a secure encrypted credit card processing system to ensure the safety and privacy of all transactions.
